2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup Karo syrup
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups pecans (halves or chopped)
1 unbaked pie shell
Mix sugar, eggs and Karo thoroughly.
Stir in vanilla and pecans and pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Brushing your pie shell with egg white before pouring the batter in will help keep the crust from becoming too soggy
